These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the websites, applications, and related software services offered by IFace (doing business as "RankBuddy") ("RankBuddy," "we," "us," or "our") at https://rankbuddy.io (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are subscription-based software (digital content) for teams that plan, generate, optimize, and publish SEO-oriented content for lawful business purposes. We do not sell human consulting, done-for-you content production, or other human-delivered services through checkout. RankBuddy does not publish content to the public internet without an explicit action by an authorized user in your account.
By creating an account, completing checkout, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity and "you" includes the entity.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter a binding contract. The Services are intended for businesses and professionals; they are not directed to children. You represent that your primary use of the Services is in connection with software or digital content for your business, not the sale of physical goods, pure human consulting, or other offerings that are incompatible with our payment partners' acceptable use requirements.
2. The Services
RankBuddy provides tools to help teams research topics, generate drafts, manage editorial workflows, and publish SEO-oriented content you approve. Features may change as we improve the product. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services with reasonable notice where practicable; we are not liable for changes that are immaterial or required for security, legal, or compliance reasons.
3. Publishing workflow, editorial review, and third-party platforms
RankBuddy is an editorial workflow tool, not an unattended publishing bot. The product is designed so you retain control over what becomes publicly available:
- Draft-first: AI-assisted generation and planning produce drafts and calendar items. Content is not made publicly available until an authorized user explicitly publishes it or schedules it for a specific date and time.
- Editorial review required: You (or someone on your team) must review, edit, and approve all content before publication or scheduling. You represent that a qualified person on your side has reviewed content for accuracy, originality, legal compliance, and suitability before it goes live.
- Scheduling is deliberate: Scheduling a post is an explicit user action. Optional auto-publish (disabled by default per project) only releases posts you have already scheduled—it does not publish drafts without scheduling.
- Third-party destinations: If you use RankBuddy with a CMS, host, or other platform, you must comply with that platform's terms of service, content policies, and anti-spam rules. We do not bypass platform safeguards or encourage use that violates third-party terms.
- No rights violations: You must not use the Services to copy, scrape, or republish third-party works without permission, or to generate or distribute content that infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that publish without adequate review, generate infringing content, or use the Services in ways that create compliance risk for us or our payment partners.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at alex.repryntsev@gmail.com of unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or payment-partner rules, or that create risk for other users or the Services.
5. Purchases, Paddle, and billing
Paid subscriptions and related charges are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record ("Paddle"). When you buy a paid plan, you enter into a transaction with Paddle for payment, tax, and invoicing, and Paddle supplies the Product to you on our behalf as described in Paddle's buyer terms.
- Paddle buyer terms: Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms govern your purchase transaction with Paddle, including payment, renewals, and chargebacks.
- Product: The Product is access to RankBuddy software only (a digital subscription). These Terms govern your access to and use of the software and your relationship with us as the Supplier of the Product.
- Refunds and cancellation: Refund eligibility and how to cancel renewals are described in our Refund Policy and Paddle's Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights in your country of purchase always apply.
- Billing support: For receipt lookup, subscription management, or payment disputes, use Paddle buyer support or the links in your Paddle confirmation email.
Plan names, limits, prices, billing intervals, and taxes are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled in accordance with Paddle's processes. Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features.
6. Acceptable use and intellectual property
You may use the Services only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with these Terms, applicable law, and the requirements of our payment partners. By using the Services, you confirm that your business and your use of RankBuddy are consistent with Paddle's acceptable use expectations for software sellers (see Paddle's Acceptable Use Policy).
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any law or infringe copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person—including publishing or distributing content you do not have the right to use;
- Copy, scrape, republish, or resell third-party content without authorization (including articles, images, code, databases, or media from sites you do not own or license);
- Create, publish, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or that promotes violence or discrimination;
- Generate or distribute adult or sexually explicit material, gambling-related content, or other categories commonly restricted by card networks and payment processors;
- Provide regulated financial, medical, or legal advice, or content that presents itself as professional advice in those fields without proper authorization and disclosures;
- Impersonate any person, create deepfakes or synthetic media of a person without their explicit consent, or generate voice or likeness content without rights to do so;
- Send spam, run outbound telemarketing, operate pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, or use automated tools to manipulate social engagement (fake likes, reviews, followers, or similar);
- Operate a digital marketplace, resell access to the Services without our written consent, or use the Services where there is no bona fide software subscription (for example donations-only sites or community access with no software product);
- Upload malware, probe or stress systems without authorization, or interfere with the Services;
- Scrape, crawl, or automate access except via documented APIs and within published rate limits;
- Attempt to extract model weights, bypass usage limits, or circumvent security or billing controls.
You are solely responsible for Customer Content you submit and for how you publish or distribute outputs, including compliance with advertising rules, AI disclosure requirements, and the terms of any website, CMS, or platform where content is published. RankBuddy does not verify that you own or have licensed source materials you provide to the Services.
7. Your content and license to us
You retain rights to content you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant RankBuddy a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and improve the Services for you—including using subprocessors and model providers to execute features you enable. You represent that you have all rights needed to grant this license and that Customer Content does not violate Section 6, and that published content has been editorially reviewed as described in Section 3.
8. AI-generated output
Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given use case. You must review and edit outputs before publication. RankBuddy does not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, AI citations, or business results. You are responsible for factual accuracy, originality, and legal compliance of published content.
9. Confidentiality and feedback
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The recipient must protect it using reasonable care. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used by RankBuddy without restriction or obligation to you, royalty-free.
10. Intellectual property
RankBuddy and its licensors own the Services, software, trademarks, templates, documentation, and our aggregate analytics—not including Customer Content in your possession. Except for the limited rights expressly granted, these Terms reserve all rights.
As between you and RankBuddy, you own outputs you create using the Services, subject to third-party rights in underlying materials. RankBuddy does not claim ownership of your published content. You are responsible for ensuring outputs are original or properly licensed and do not misappropriate others' intellectual property.
11. Third-party services
The Services may integrate with third-party products (for example CMS, analytics, or model providers). Their terms and privacy policies govern those services. RankBuddy is not responsible for third-party sites or services. Payment data for checkout is handled by Paddle in accordance with Paddle's Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RANKBUDDY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. EACH PARTY'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF NONE, ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS). THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF REMEDIES FAIL THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify RankBuddy and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from third-party claims arising from Customer Content, intellectual property infringement, your publication or distribution of outputs, or your misuse of the Services—subject to RankBuddy notifying you promptly, cooperating in defense at your expense (where permissible), and not settling without RankBuddy consent if the settlement imposes undue obligations on RankBuddy.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. Cancelling a paid subscription stops future renewals through Paddle; access typically continues until the end of the current paid period unless a refund ends access earlier under applicable policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, non-payment, or legal reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants mandatory local rights, those rights are not affected.
17. General
These Terms are the entire agreement regarding the Services and supersede prior discussions on the same subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign in connection with a merger or sale. Notices to you may be sent to your account email or posted in-product.
18. Contact
