Every "best AI SEO agencies" list I found on the first page of Google was published by an agency, most of them put themselves first, and none of them listed prices. So I made the comparison I wanted to read as a buyer.

I do not run an agency. I build RankBuddy, which is software, so it is not in this list. For the ten agencies below I checked three things the same way: what each one publishes about price on its own site, its minimum project size and hourly rate on Clutch, and how often ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews mention it. That last one matters, because these agencies sell visibility in AI answers.

**Quick picks:**

* **Enterprise site, hard technical problems:** iPullRank or Onely
* **You want a published price and a large team:** WebFX
* **Content-led growth:** Siege Media
* **B2B SaaS:** Omniscient Digital
* **Ecommerce store:** 1Digital
* **One agency for SEO, paid ads and the rest:** NP Digital or Thrive
* **Budget under about $1,000 a month:** none of these, see the last section

## The 10 AI SEO agencies compared

Checked in October 2026. "AI mentions" is how many ChatGPT answers (US, English) and Google AI Overviews name the agency, from DataForSEO's database of AI answers.

| Agency | Best for | Price on its own site | Clutch minimum project | Clutch hourly rate | AI mentions |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| NP Digital | Full-service marketing | Not listed | $1,000+ | $100 to $149 | 8,111 |
| Coalition Technologies | Mid-size businesses, ecommerce | Custom quote | $1,000+ | $50 to $99 | 7,292 |
| Siege Media | Content-led SEO | Not listed | $5,000+ | $100 to $149 | 3,618 |
| WebFX | Transparent pricing, big team | GEO from $3,000/mo | $1,000+ | Not disclosed | 2,809 |
| Thrive | Small and mid-size businesses | Not listed (form starts at $2,500 to $5,000/mo) | $1,000+ | $100 to $149 | 2,309* |
| Omniscient Digital | B2B SaaS | Not listed | $5,000+ | $100 to $149 | 572 |
| Onely | International enterprise | No rate card | $10,000+ | $200 to $300 | 255 |
| 1Digital | Ecommerce | From $185/hour | $1,000+ | $150 to $199 | 106 |
| SeoProfy | SEO plus AI visibility, mid-market | Not listed | $1,000+ | $50 to $99 | 100 |
| iPullRank | Enterprise, technical | Not listed | $50,000+ | Not disclosed | 83 |

\*Measured as "Thrive Internet Marketing", the full name, so it likely undercounts.

## What the comparison shows

**Two of ten publish a price.** WebFX lists GEO services from $3,000 a month, and 1Digital lists AI SEO from $185 an hour. Everyone else needs a sales call. For context, Clutch's [SEO pricing data](https://clutch.co/seo-firms/pricing) puts the average SEO engagement at $3,199 a month.

**Minimums split the list in two.** Six agencies accept projects from $1,000 on Clutch. Siege Media and Omniscient start at $5,000, Onely at $10,000 and iPullRank at $50,000. If your budget is a few thousand a month, half the list is out before the first call.

**Selling AI visibility and having it are different things.** NP Digital and Coalition are named in thousands of AI answers. SeoProfy, which ranks itself first in its own "best AI SEO agencies" list, is named in 100. To be fair, this number measures how well known a brand is overall, not how good its work is: iPullRank has some of the deepest writing on AI search in the industry and still sits at 83. Use it as one signal, then ask the agency to show you the same numbers for their clients.

## The agencies, one by one

### NP Digital

Neil Patel's agency, with offices worldwide and about 450 employees by its own count. It folds AI search work into a wider plan that also covers content, PR and paid media. Pick it if you want one partner for most of marketing. No price on the site; Clutch lists $1,000+ projects and $100 to $149 an hour.

### Coalition Technologies

A large Los Angeles agency with 167 Clutch reviews, one of the most reviewed on this list. It quotes each project and says there is no long-term contract. Clutch lists the lowest hourly rate here ($50 to $99), which makes it a realistic option for mid-size and ecommerce businesses.

### Siege Media

Known for content and digital PR. Its headline AI case study says it helped Mentimeter generate 250,000 visits from ChatGPT. Pick it if your growth will come from content people link to and AI tools quote. Clutch: $5,000+ projects, 4.9 rating from 48 reviews.

### WebFX

The most transparent on price: GEO services start at $3,000 a month, with a 6-month commitment on the entry tier. It is also the biggest team here (750+ people) with 453 Clutch reviews. The trade-off is a standardized process, which suits most businesses but not unusual ones.

### Thrive

A US agency for small and mid-size businesses, with no long-term contract on its page. It does not publish prices, but its contact form starts the budget options at $2,500 to $5,000 a month, which tells you where it expects to start. Clutch: 4.6 from 112 reviews.

### Omniscient Digital

Focused on B2B SaaS and tech companies. Its AI work includes tracking target prompts, optimizing your own pages for LLMs and earned media to get your brand mentioned. It says openly that it is not a fit for B2C or ecommerce. Clutch: $5,000+ projects, only 6 reviews.

### Onely

Founded by Bartosz Góralewicz, built for international enterprises with technical and multi-country problems. It publishes no rate card, and Clutch lists the highest hourly rate in this list ($200 to $300). Its own article on choosing an AI SEO agency is one of the more honest ones I read.

### 1Digital

An ecommerce agency. AI SEO starts at $185 an hour with a 3-month minimum, and separate SEO retainers start at $899 a month, the lowest published entry point here. Pick it if you run an online store and want specialists in ecommerce.

### SeoProfy

Ranks third in Google for "ai seo agency" with a list of the best AI SEO agencies that puts SeoProfy first. Clutch reviews are strong (4.9 from 99) and the rate is low ($50 to $99). Judge it on its client results, not its own ranking.

### iPullRank

Mike King's agency, behind the "relevance engineering" approach to AI search. Enterprise only: Clutch lists a $50,000+ minimum. If you have a large site and an in-house team that needs a strategic partner, it is one of the strongest names. For everyone else it is out of range.

## How to choose in five questions

1. **Does your budget clear their minimum?** Check Clutch before the call, as I did above.
2. **Do they work in your industry?** Several agencies here say who they are not for. Believe them.
3. **How do they measure AI visibility?** Ask which engines, which prompts and which tool, and to see it next to clicks and leads.
4. **What is the commitment?** 3 to 6 months is common. Ask what happens if the first 90 days show nothing.
5. **Who does the work?** Ask to meet the person on your account, not only the person selling it.

I wrote the full list of questions, with the answers to look for, in [how to vet an AI SEO expert](https://rankbuddy.io/blog/ai-seo-expert).

## When you do not need an agency

If your budget is under about $1,000 a month, or your real problem is that nobody does the routine work (checking Search Console, fixing what breaks, updating pages that slip), an agency is the expensive answer. An AI SEO agent costs a subscription and does that routine every day, though it will not build links through relationships or own your strategy. I compared ten of them, including RankBuddy, in [AI SEO agents compared](https://rankbuddy.io/blog/ai-agent-for-seo). If you would rather have a person part-time, see [SEO virtual assistant vs AI](https://rankbuddy.io/blog/seo-virtual-assistant).

## How I made this comparison

* **Which agencies:** the ones that rank on page one of Google (US) for "ai seo agency", "ai seo services" and "best ai seo agency", or that appear most often in those lists, in October 2026.
* **Price:** only what each agency publishes on its own site. Where nothing is published, I say so.
* **Clutch:** minimum project size, hourly rate and reviews from each agency's Clutch profile, which the agencies fill in themselves.
* **AI mentions:** DataForSEO's database of ChatGPT answers (US, English) and Google AI Overviews, pulled with RankBuddy. It counts every answer that names the brand, on any topic. I left out Single Grain because its name also matches answers about single-grain foods.
* **What I did not do:** I did not hire any of these agencies, so nothing here is a review of their work.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best AI SEO agency?

There is no single best one; it depends on budget and industry. In my comparison, iPullRank and Onely suit enterprises with technical problems, WebFX is the most transparent on price, Siege Media is strongest on content, Omniscient Digital on B2B SaaS and 1Digital on ecommerce.

### How much does an AI SEO agency cost?

Most AI SEO agencies do not publish prices. Of the ten I compared, WebFX lists GEO services from $3,000 a month and 1Digital lists AI SEO from $185 an hour. Minimum projects on Clutch range from $1,000 to $50,000, and Clutch puts the average SEO engagement at $3,199 a month.

### What does an AI SEO agency do?

It does classic SEO plus work aimed at AI answers such as ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews: tracking which prompts mention your brand, structured data and entity work, content written to be quoted, and digital PR so trusted sites mention you. The AI part is usually sold as GEO or AEO.

### How do I choose an AI SEO agency?

Check that your budget clears their minimum, that they work in your industry, how they measure AI visibility (engines, prompts and tool), how long the commitment is, and who will actually work on your account. Ignore rankings published by agencies that put themselves first.

### Is there an AI that can do SEO instead of an agency?

For the routine part, yes. AI SEO agents check your site and Search Console on a schedule, find problems and opportunities and draft content for your approval, for a monthly subscription. They do not build relationships for links, run PR or own your strategy, which is where an agency earns its fee.
